Mikhail Lavrenov (also known as MikLav) is a part time freelance photographer located in Leuven, Belgium.

His home location (Leuven) is a nice old Belgian university town located about 20 km east of Brussels.

Mikhail has been involved with photography as an amateur since the early 1980s. Starting with a rangefinder and then a mechanical SLR camera; then automatic SLR and finally moved to a digital SLR. Photography used to be his hobby for a long time and turned to a part-time job in the mid-2000s.
