What is measured without asking you

For each visit: the page address, the page title, the referring address, screen size, browser language, and how fast the page loaded (TTFB, FCP, LCP, CLS, INP). Visits are grouped by a hash of your IP address and browser, which changes every day. That hash is pseudonymous, not anonymous, and the law treats it as personal data.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used, how fast they load and where they break (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device.

Your browser's privacy signals

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is loaded or sent. You do not have to do anything else.

What we do not do

No advertising, no profiling for marketing, no sale or sharing, no tracking across other websites.

Server logs

Our servers record the IP address of each request for up to 14 days, to protect the sites against attacks and abuse. This rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the sites secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), Recital 49). These logs are kept apart from the measurement above and are never combined with it.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and Cloudflare, which delivers this site. Data is stored on private hardware in Belgium.

How long it is kept

Visit records: 13 months, then only monthly totals that identify no one. Server logs: up to 14 days. Deleted data stays in our backups for up to 14 days on this server; the off-site copy's own retention is not yet fixed.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object. Write to [email protected].

Your right to object. The measurement above rests on our legitimate interest, so you may object at any time, and we stop. The switch below does it for this browser; a Global Privacy Control signal does it automatically.
